I'm telling you: even when you need extremely complex operations with remote computer (upload or download files, browse directories and manage the entire computer), you can get all that done with just an e-mail connection (imagine a situation where company policies and firewalls don't allow FTP and other "advanced" communication protocols). Think, it's impossible? - You've missed! Because I have GetByMail.

Does it do what it promises?
Reviewer 1: Yes, with GetByMail, it is possible to connect two computers and manage things on the remote computer from the local computer. Because it is passing through email accounts, it can avoid some of the difficulties of other types of remote access and control...
Reviewer 2. Yes, but with one caveat: it is a somewhat unique program that allows remote access to another computer, file sharing, and email but it is not easy to set up as claimed in the Web site.
Reviewer 3: Yes, files that i tried were transmitted completely and accurately using this program.

There is another program that you can use to share files and run remote applications on your office computer, but this one uses your email account to do it. It's called GetByMail and you don't need a dedicated IP address, nor do you have to make complex network configuration settings. It supports POP, IMAP and SMTP and works with Exchange and Gmail. You can secure connections with SSL.

A GetByMail program nem kevesebbet próbál meg, mint a távoli géprõl/gépre fájlokat mozgatni, emellett néhány alapszintũ távvezérlési funkciót is nyújt. Mivel a tũzfalak által veszélytelennek tartott POP3/SMTP levelezõprotokollokat használja, új portot sem kell engedélyezni rajtuk. A programot levelezõkliensként kell beállítani, ezért tapasztaltabb felhasználók gond nélköl képesek telepíteni.
